For over a two decades, the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (MIEC) at Morehouse College has been a dedicated participant and advocate of the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP). Throughout this period, MIEC has collaborated with industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, AT&T, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Together, we have supported over 120 protégé companies across the United States, helping them achieve sustained growth and create new job opportunities within the economy.
Our comprehensive developmental assistance, provided by a team of faculty, students, and subject matter experts, encompasses a wide range of services. These services include implementation of Quality Management Systems (ISO, CMMI, CMMC, etc.), acquisition of technical certifications, enhancement of DCMA accounting systems, and development of robust business and proposal infrastructures. Additionally, we offer Project Management certification to further equip our protégés with essential skills for success.
MIEC’s commitment to excellence in mentorship has led to participation in 13 Nunn-Perry Award-winning teams, demonstrating our effective and impactful collaboration in the MPP.
Recent Collaborative Agreements Include:
